Responsibilities
- Perform professional grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and finishing touches tailored to each pet’s breed and owner preferences
- Ensure the safety and comfort of pets throughout the grooming process by following proper handling techniques
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming stations and tools to uphold health standards
- Schedule appointments efficiently, managing multiple clients while providing excellent customer service
- Communicate clearly with pet owners about grooming needs, preferences, and aftercare instructions
- Assist with errand running or special requests from clients to enhance their experience
- Support team members by sharing best practices in pet care, hygiene, and customer engagement
Qualifications
- Previous salon or spa experience, preferably in pet grooming or personal care services
- Experience with appointment scheduling systems and managing client flow effectively
- Familiarity with office building or clinic environments is a plus
- Ability to handle personal transportation assistance or run errands as needed for client convenience
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude and a passion for animals
- Must be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Pay is commission based upon experience
