Job Description: E-Commerce Specialist
Location: Paynesville, MN
PAY: UP TO $68,000 annual salary plus Growth Incentive

Job Summary: The E-Commerce Specialist plans, creates and ensures that e-commerce platforms are visually appealing, easy to navigate, and furnished with accurate, up-to-date content. The content/updates will focus on driving traffic, CTR (Click-Through-Rate) and Conversions to allow Avon Plastics products to be easily discoverable and purchasable. Quality assurance for all websites to validate that all respective data is current, correct and easily navigated for the end user (customer). The Ecommerce Specialist will work closely with Shipping, Production, Marketing, and Lawn and Garden Sales team to ensure that all inventory, imagery and strategies are executed.
Skills:
- Degree in sales, marketing, business or a relevant business subject.
- Demonstrates experience as an e-commerce specialist through Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes, Wayfair, etc.
- Knowledgeable about consumer preferences, lifestyle segments and how to incorporate this information into marketing copy.

Tasks:
- Develop, monitor, write and update product content contained on eCommerce websites/portals.
- Identify, develop, or evaluate marketing strategy, based on knowledge of establishment objectives, market characteristics, and cost and markup factors.
- Formulate, direct, or coordinate online marketing activities or policies to promote products or services, working with advertising and marketing managers.
- Manage the digital image/video library and ensure all product information is adequate and accurate
- Facilitate photoshoots and video generation for online SKUS
- E-commerce site maintenance
- Plan and direct online retail marketing campaigns and analyze performance (ROAS/CTR/Impressions, etc.)
- Track the website traffic flow of online stores
- Implement and analyze performance metrics
- Work close with the sales and marketing team
- Monitor and improve (if needed) company’s online reputation
- Create, send and answer emails (Rithum Platform)
- Consult with product development personnel on product specifications such as design, color, or packaging.
- Use sales forecasting or strategic planning to ensure the sale and profitability of products, lines, or services, analyzing business developments and monitoring market trends online.
- Coordinate or participate in promotional activities or trade shows, working with developers, advertisers, or production managers, to market products or services online.
- Initiate online market research studies or analyze their findings.
- Maintains strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.
- Inspecting landing pages, product information, checkout options, and all other pertinent website-related systems to ensure their visual appeal, accuracy, and ease of use.
- Assisting with decisions about promotions such as discounted offers and affordable bulk packages.
- Ensuring that payment options and promotional tabs are configured correctly.
- Collaborating with appropriate stakeholders to ensure the rollout of website changes.
- Inspecting and uploading customers' product reviews.
- Scheduling and communicating intensive site maintenance, as needed.
- Analyzing sales-related data to predict future sales and concomitant stock requirements.
