Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Office Manager/Finance Coordinator to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient service
- Manage billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and accounts receivable to optimize revenue cycles
- Supervise administrative staff, providing training and support in medical records management, appointment scheduling, and customer service
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and health regulation policies to uphold patient confidentiality and safety
- Utilize EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical records and electronic health records management
- Coordinate financial activities including budgeting, expense tracking, and fiscal reporting to ensure practice profitability
- Supervise human resources functions such as staff recruitment, performance evaluations, and compliance with employment laws
Experience
- Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare practice management with a strong understanding of medical administrative support
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams within a healthcare or dental setting
- Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and electronic health record systems (EMR/EHR) such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations including HIPAA, JCAHO standards, and managed care policies
- Background in financial management including budgeting, billing procedures, and revenue cycle optimization
- Prior experience with hospital or acute care environments is advantageous but not required
- Strong organizational skills combined with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
