Elon Tile and Stone is seeking a motivated Warehouse Worker to join our wholesale tile and stone business. The job responsibilities include receiving and processing incoming orders, packing and shipping outgoing tile and stone orders, organizing inventory, and ensuring that all products are handled safely and efficiently.
Work Hours: Monday through Friday: Full time day shift 8:30am to 5:00pm
Primary job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Receive and process incoming tile shipments.
- Fulfill and pack outgoing tile orders for freight and UPS transport.
- Load transport carriers using the forklift.
- Inspect tile inventory on pallets for breakage.
- Organize inventory and maintain accurate records.
- Operate forklift equipment to move tile as needed.
- Process customer returns promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment including consolidating pallets on racks and sweeping warehouse floor and emptying garbage.
- Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained in good working condition.
- Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times and communicates the importance of safety in the warehouse to all workers.
- Maintain a positive and productive working relationship with customer service and other Elon staff.
