JOB Performs construction, repair, and maintenance work on sewer and water lines; operates equipment and performs extensive manual labor; reads meters; performs related work as required. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the general supervision of the Water Field Supervisor or the on-site supervisor.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
None. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION High school diploma or GED. Must be able to obtain Texas CDL-B within six (6) months from date of hire. Must be able to obtain a Texas “D” Water Distribution and Texas Collections I Certification within one (1) year from date of hire, and must be able to obtain a Texas "C" Water Distribution Certification within three (3) years from date of hire.
A minimum of six (6) months experience in performing construction work requiring the use of equipment similar to or the same as assigned to this position.
