Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of dental office operations, including scheduling, billing, patient flow, and staff coordination to optimize efficiency and service quality
- Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary team comprising dental assistants, hygienists, administrative staff, and nursing leadership to achieve shared goals
- Ensure compliance with health regulation policies, including infection control protocols, and privacy laws such as HIPAA
- Manage financials by monitoring budgets, controlling costs, and implementing revenue cycle management strategies
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among clinical and administrative departments to enhance operational workflows and patient outcomes
- Implement performance improvement (PI) initiatives to elevate service delivery and operational metrics continuously
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership to report on key performance indicators (KPIs), operational challenges, and strategic opportunities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in healthcare management or medical office administration within a dental or similar clinical setting
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams and driving performance improvements in a fast-paced environment
- Expertise in healthcare financial management including budgeting, billing processes, and revenue cycle oversight
- Excellent managerial communication skills to foster teamwork, resolve conflicts, and engage stakeholders at all levels
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop operational plans aligned with organizational goals
