PURPOSE: The Administrative Specialist will plan, organize and assist with accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, human resources, and the other ongoing work of Administration. The Administrative Specialist will implement the initiatives to achieve the Township#39;s strategic goals.
SCOPE: The Administrative Specialist will play an integral role in the success of the Finance Department, providing critical support to multiple functions to the Township.
ESSENTIAL ROLES amp; RESPONSIBLILITIES: Will include but not limited to the following:

Assist with accounts receivable including posting receipts.

Assist with the monthly bank reconciliation.

Assist with human resources including on boarding, FMLA, BWC, and records management.

Assist with managing the office, including coordinating public records requests and providing excellent customer service.

Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to learn and navigate multiple forms of software, most importantly Microsoft Office.

EDUCATION, LICENSING amp; CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED required. Graduate of accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting, finance, human resources, business or public administration, or a closely related field preferred.
