OPART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE & SALES COORDINATOR

We’re looking for an organized, friendly, and dependable local person to help manage customer inquiries, scheduling, and sales follow-up for our growing home-service business.
This is a mostly remote position with occasional in-person meetings or training in the Mundelein area. We anticipate approximately 8–12 hours per week to start, primarily during weekday business hours. Additional hours may become available during our busy holiday-lighting season.
Responsibilities include:
- Responding to new customer inquiries by phone, text, and email
- Asking basic qualification questions using provided templates
- Scheduling phone consultations and estimates
- Following up on outstanding quotes and previous inquiries
- Entering and updating customer information in Jobber and Pipedrive
- Keeping each lead organized with a clear next step
- Sending appointment confirmations and customer reminders
- Forwarding technical or pricing questions to the owner
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
The ideal candidate:
- Communicates clearly and professionally
- Is comfortable speaking with customers by phone
- Is dependable, organized, and good at following up
- Can work independently and manage several ongoing conversations
- Is comfortable learning basic software and customer-management systems
- Lives in or is familiar with Lake County and the surrounding communities
- Has previous customer service, office administration, scheduling, or sales-support experience
Knowledge of holiday lighting, window cleaning, or home services is helpful but not required. Training, scripts, templates, and system access will be provided. This is a customer-service and sales-support position; you will not be expected to answer complicated technical questions or perform aggressive cold calling.
Starting compensation: $20 per hour
Starting schedule: Approximately 8–12 hours per week Mornings
Location: Mostly remote, with occasional in-person training in Mundelein
