Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to address individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans tailored to each client’s condition and goals
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to ensure safe and effective treatments
- Educate clients on pain management strategies, occupational health practices, and self-care routines for ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, patient progress, and treatment outcomes in compliance with clinic standards
- Provide outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and addressing client questions or concerns with professionalism
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive patient care plans
- Must be available weekends.
Experience
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification in good standing
- Proven experience delivering various massage techniques including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy
- Familiarity with patient service protocols, patient assessment procedures, and pain management strategies
- Knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage practices
- Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients and foster trust
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development within the massage therapy field
