Tear A Part is a self-service premier automotive recycling facility, where tinkerers, mechanics and the public can shop for used auto parts. We are currently seeking motivated Retail Representatives! You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through greeting customers, vendors and suppliers; assisting with vehicle inventory and parts information; purchasing vehicles; answering phones, cashiering, and more in a fast-paced working environment. Please note, this is an IN-PERSON position.
Job Duties:
· Assist with parts identification and marking
· Check customers into yard, collect entry fees
· Check tool boxes/bags for parts and flaming devices
· Answer and direct phone calls, give quotes, set appointments
· Look up vehicle inventory and parts pricing for customers
· Provide parts interchange information to customers
· Clean retail area daily, Retrieve wheelbarrows
· Clean spills in parking area, Organize and clean tire area
· Assist with part returns, exchanges, and core returns
· Manage cash register and provide excellent customer service when checking out customers
· Ring in customer parts accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash management
· Purchase vehicles from various sources by accurately bidding vehicles per company pricing standards and correctly reviewing titles received from customers
· Assist with BOLS, managing dispatch driver assignments, locations, etc as needed
· Any other tasks assigned
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for long periods of time
- Bending, lifting, pushing, twisting, stooping, and pulling up to 75 pounds repeatedly
- Occasionally assist in the yard and also in extreme weather conditions (Heat or Cold)
Pace and Scheduling:
- Time sensitive
- Fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work weekends/some holidays
- Occasional overtime required
Work Attire:
- Company provided uniform
- Must wear closed toe shoes (steel toe preferred)
- No torn or worn out pants/jeans
- No gauges or face piercings
- Good personal hygiene
Experience:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Experience with titling, purchasing vehicles, and cashiering a PLUS!
- 1-3 years Customer Service experience in a fast-paced environment
- One or more years of automotive experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred

Weekly day range:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

- Ogden, UT 84404: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
