Job Summary We are looking for a hands-on supervisor to lead our powder coating operations. This role is responsible for helping manage day-to-day production, maintaining product quality standards, supporting team members, and keeping workflow moving safely and efficiently. This is a leadership role, but we are looking for someone willing to work alongside the team and help wherever needed.
Responsibilities
- lead daily powder coating operations
- manage shop employees, follow production schedules and coordinate workflow between fabrication and shipping schedules
- Schedule and assign daily tasks to meet production targets without compromising quality
- assist with training and development of personnel
- monitor equipment performance, coordinate preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment
- assist with inventory and material flow related to powder coating operations
Requirements
- proven experience in manufacturing environments with knowledge of industrial painting or coating processes
- Proficient knowledge of powder coating equipment, curing ovens, spray guns, and surface preparation techniques
- basic math skills for calculating measurements, coating thicknesses, and load out quantities, load placement/weight distribution on truck/trailers
- must be able to work Monday-Friday during normal day shift hours, weekends according to manufacturing schedule demands
- previous manufacturing and supervisory experience required
- must be dependable, organized, and willing to lead by example
- must be physically able to perform work including time on feet, moderate lifting and acclimate to seasonal weather conditions
- forklift experience required
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
