Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and friendly Bartender/Server to join our team! In this role, you will craft delicious beverages, serve food and drinks with enthusiasm, and ensure our guests have an exceptional experience. Your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will help create memorable moments for our visitors.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, draft beers, and non-alcoholic options, following established recipes and presentation standards
- Take food and drink orders accurately on guest checks
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
- Process cash transactions efficiently while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and retail math, plus the use of a credit card machine
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards
- Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to the bar’s creative offerings if you like
- Assist with food service duties when needed, including serving meals and large group events on premises
- Occasionally prepare simple plates
Skills
- Proven experience in bartending or serving within the hospitality a plus but employer willing to train a new bartender
- Genuinely enjoy people and good conversation
- Knowledge of the game of golf a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
- Ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Experience with food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures, training provided
- Familiarity with retail math, cash handling, and basic math skills for transactions
