Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support middle and high school students for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year. This role focuses on helping students develop essential communication skills that support academic success, social interaction, and post-secondary readiness.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations for students in grades 6–12

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with federal and state guidelines

Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services in individual and group settings

Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress

Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and service logs

Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development opportunities

Support students with a variety of needs, including articulation, language disorders, social communication, fluency, and AAC as appropriate

Utilize evidence-based practices and adapt therapy approaches for diverse learners
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active South Carolina SLP license (or eligibility)

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply

Previous school-based experience preferred, especially with middle or high school populations

Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
