Heartbeat Music & Performing Arts Academy (“HBMPAA”) is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and compliance-driven Paralegal to support the Human Resources Department with employment-related documentation, organizational compliance, operational risk mitigation, and legal administrative support functions across multiple divisions.

Assist with corrective action documentation, investigations, employment agreements, MOUs, personnel notices, and compliance acknowledgements.

Maintain personnel records in compliance with California labor laws and organizational policies.

Support unemployment claim responses, record retention, and compliance initiatives.

Assist with Title 22, Title 5, CSPP/CCTR, CACFP, and California labor law compliance tracking.

Prepare documentation for audits, licensing reviews, and operational inspections.

Draft organizational forms, templates, and professional correspondence.

Associate’s Degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent experience required.

Minimum two (2) years of related experience preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills required.

Knowledge of California employment practices strongly preferred.
