What is Smash My Trash®
We use patented Smash Trucks to compact trash inside roll-off dumpsters by up to 70%, saving customers money and reducing the number of costly hauls. Our trucks feature long hydraulic arms with a 3-ton steel drum that literally rolls over trash. Our routed service ensures that clients save money by adding 2 to 3 times as much waste to their cans which dramatically reduces the quality of hauls that our clients pay for monthly.
The Role
We’re hiring experienced heavy-duty drivers to operate our unique Smash Trucks (Kenworth or International) and the hydraulic Smasher on the back.
This job offers the opportunity to shake up the routine of driving with smashing trash. We need drivers who are detail oriented and willing to work hard to provide excellent service to our customers. This isn’t your typical driving gig — it’s hands-on, impactful, and fun. And yes — you’ll be home every night.

You will be:
- Reporting directly to the Operations Manager of Smash My Trash® of Dallas Northwest.
- Driving and operating the trucks and smasher at client sites
- Safely smashing trash - seriously, that's the job!
- Communicating with the client to alert them when it's time to haul their trash
- Completing detailed maintenance checks and cleaning truck at the beginning and end of each day
- Communicating with and supervising mechanics as needed
- Tracking, documenting, and reporting all activity related to clients and trucks
What we are looking for
- A minimum of 2 to 3 years of heavy-duty truck driving experience with air-brakes and air-ride systems
- CDL & DOT required
- Driving experience with towing companies, roll-off dumpsters and waste haulers a plus
- Someone who pays attention to detail will shine in this role. Truck care and positive customer reviews will be rewarded through a bonus system
- Someone who wants to EARN great money by providing incredible customer service, hustling and generating long term business
- Someone with a positive attitude who will contribute to the culture of our Smash Team
- Moderate or better physical capabilities as you will be standing, lifting up to 50lbs, and climbing a 4 foot ladder frequently in a variety of weather conditions
- You must be comfortable using apps and software related to customer management and truck maintenance
- Valid U.S. driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to pass a drug test and background check.
