Independent Provider + Educator Partnership
Role: HSN Licensed Beauty Instructor & Advanced Provider PartnerProvider Classification: Independent Contractor/Provider PartnershipBooth Rental: $300/week
HSN Instructors maintain their own professional clientele while also having opportunities to host approved trainings, mentor developing providers, supervise eligible intern experiences, and contribute to the growth of The Beauty of HSN.

Advanced Provider Services
As an Advanced Provider Partner:
- Maintain your service revenue after booth rental obligations
- Build and manage your own clientele
- Establish service pricing above HSN starting prices based on your expertise, specialty, and client experience
- Receive 20% retail commission on eligible The Beauty of HSN retail sales
Instructor & Education Opportunities
HSN Licensed Instructors may earn additional income through:
- Hosting approved classes
- Providing professional trainings
- Conducting educational demonstrations
- Supervising intern client services
- Supporting provider development programs
- Participating in HSN events
Educational compensation is processed through the HSN checkout and payout system with applicable fees and agreed deductions automatically calculated.
Internship & Provider Development Responsibilities
HSN Instructors may support:

- Career advancement preparation
For eligible intern services performed under active instructor supervision, instructors may receive an additional supervision/service commission according to HSN compensation guidelines.
Instructor Responsibilities
HSN Instructors are responsible for:
✔ Maintaining an active professional license✔ Maintaining a current state-approved instructor license/certification✔ Providing exceptional client services✔ Teaching approved HSN techniques and protocols✔ Mentoring developing professionals✔ Supervising eligible intern client services✔ Maintaining sanitation and safety standards✔ Supporting HSN service quality expectations✔ Providing professional feedback and coaching✔ Participating in education initiatives and events
Scheduling & Availability
HSN Instructors maintain control over their provider schedules while having access to:
- Opening shifts
- Mid-day shifts
- Closing shifts
- Training opportunities
- Event opportunities
Scheduling is designed to support both:
- Personal client growth
- Educational leadership opportunities
Marketing & Brand Collaboration
HSN Instructors are expected to participate in building the HSN professional community by:
- Creating professional service content
- Submitting approved content for marketing opportunities
- Tagging HSN when sharing HSN-related services, products, events, or education
- Supporting brand campaigns
- Participating in community engagement opportunities
Required Qualifications
Applicants must:
✅ Hold an active Ohio professional license in their specialty✅ Hold a current Ohio Board-approved instructor license/certificate applicable to their area of instruction✅ Have professional industry experience in their specialty✅ Demonstrate advanced technical skills✅ Have strong communication and leadership abilities✅ Be comfortable mentoring and coaching developing professionals✅ Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, sanitation, and safety requirements
Preferred Qualifications
Ideal candidates may have:
