Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests. Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly while ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Upsell menu items and beverages to maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for incoming guests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during peak hours.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, particularly in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, OpenTable, or similar systems is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is required.
- Culinary experience or kitchen knowledge is beneficial but not mandatory.
