Job Overview
As a Traveling Installation Technician, you will be part of the Team responsible for deploying customer systems at existing hospital client sites.
- Tagging medical equipment with stickers
- Matching tags with device IDs in the client’s mobile app
- Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail during tagging and data entry
- Understanding which devices are in scope for tagging
- Communicating process improvements and flagging risks to the project lead
Schedule/Contract:
- Start time varies between 3:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Typical schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Travel Requirements:
- Based near Virginia Beach, VA with travel to locations across VA & NC
Accommodations:
- Meals: Monday–Friday, candidates may expense up to $80 per day for food. Expenses will be reimbursed weekly through expense reports.
- Drive Time: Drive time is paid from the candidate’s home to their hotel. The full drive time is compensable.
- Mileage: If driving your own vehicle, will be reimbursed at $0.72 per mile.
- Hotel: Will cover the cost of the hotel. Candidates will be required to provide a card for incidentals.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills (interacting with staff, patients, and guests)
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to locations across VA & NC
- Prior experience working in a hospital environment
- Education or training in technical/electronics fields or equivalent military experience
