Responsibilities
- Build a working understanding of ASG’s products, operations, and procedures, and know when to seek guidance on unfamiliar or complex situations.
- Learn to build, assemble, calibrate, and test ASG’s precision torque control and fastening tools and their subassemblies, following established work instructions.
- Learn to troubleshoot and repair both company-manufactured equipment and the products we sell.
- Inspect, test, and pack finished products to meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors. Respond promptly to requests from customers and supervisors.
- Keep the supervisor informed of issues that need attention and involvement from supervisors.
- Maintains timely and accurate records and reports, as required.
- Observe good housekeeping and safety habits.
- Take on additional assembly-related responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or trade school education is required. Has the necessary training to become proficient in the position.
- Through related experience, has demonstrated the skills and ability to be an effective electronic assembly technician.
- Possesses strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electronics.
- Has basic soldering skills and is able to use hand tools, vise, and drill press.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers.
- Experience assembling, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment, with the ability to read prints and interpret manuals to determine correct procedures.
- Has basiccomputer skills and is comfortable learning new computer systems and software tools.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time management skills in prioritizing and addressing multiple and at times conflicting demands.
- High energy with a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs.
- High level of personal and professional integrity.
- Is committed to the company’s values.
Pay: $21.00 - $27.00 per hour
