Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced outpatient Cath Lab. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in performing diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral procedures as well as EP device implants. This position requires a strong understanding of cardiology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as the ability to work efficiently scrubbing all procedures.
Duties
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures to ensure patient safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with medical staff and documenting patient information.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to cardiovascular health.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for procedures, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
- Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures utilizing Merge Hemodynamic recording system, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies.
- Maintain equipment and ensure that all tools are sterilized and ready for use before each procedure.
Experience
- A background in Cath Lab is required.
- Experience scrubbing coronary and peripheral procedures.
- Proficiency in cardiac catheterization techniques is essential.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is required.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
