Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that patrons have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality food and beverage service in a timely manner.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests, presenting menus and providing information about specials and menu items.
- Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all requests are communicated effectively to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, maintaining attention to detail in presentation and accuracy.
- Handle cash register transactions, including processing payments and managing cash handling procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to prioritize tasks efficiently.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of hospitality principles, with experience in fine dining or nightclub environments preferred.
- Proficient in basic math skills for handling cash register transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours.
- Familiarity with food handling practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced setting.
- Previous experience in food service is highly desirable, but we are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn.
