Employee is required to sit occasionally, stand continuously, and walk frequently.Employee must lift/carry light (20-lb maximum), medium (50-lb maximum) loads frequently, and over 100-lb loads occasionally with assistance. Employee is required to bend, squat, climb, reach forward and reach overhead frequently; kneel, lift from floor to waist and lift to overhead occasionally. Employee is required to perform duties involving repetitive action, and is required to perform simple grasping, pushing/pulling and fine manipulation frequently.Employee is occasionally exposed to the following
environmental conditions: fumes, radiation, electrical hazard, and CRT terminal work. Employee is frequently exposed to blood-borne pathogens. Employee may be needed to work any shift due to 24-hour day, 7 days per week operation, and may be needed to work in other areas of Surgical Services as necessary.

High School Diploma/GED and 3 years experience, or Graduate from an accredited Surgical Tech School Program with Certification.
