Join our team as a FedEx Ground Delivery Driver and become a vital part of our fast-paced delivery network! We are seeking motivated, reliable and professional FedEx Ground Delivery Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience operating box trucks, step vans, or commercial vehicles, but we are willing to train candidates with serious interest, who are dedicated and hardworking. Other essential skills include safely delivering packages to customers, ensuring timely service, and maintaining excellent customer relations. This role requires a strong focus on safe commercial driving, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Clean driving record (experience operating commercial vehicles preferred)
- Must be able to complete and pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Background check with no criminal history
- Consistent punctuality and reliability
Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial delivery vehicles.
- Deliver packages accurately and efficiently to designated addresses within assigned routes.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed in a timely manner while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the delivery vehicle at all times.
- Assist with warehouse activities such as loading, moving, and organizing packages as needed.
- Follow route driving instructions to optimize delivery schedules.
- Handle heavy lifting of packages safely
Skills
- Ability to safely operate box trucks, step vans, and other commercial vehicles.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, warehouse operations, and package handling.
- Proven experience in commercial delivery driving. Route driving knowledge is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to operate independently while following safety and conduct guidelines.
Pay: $800.00 - $1,400.00 per week
