Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Housekeepers/Room Attendants to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle various cleaning tasks such as floor care, chemical agent handling, and janitorial duties using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly using cleaning chemicals in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and hotel procedures.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely when moving furniture or cleaning supplies.
- Ensure all areas meet hotel housekeeping management standards by adhering to established protocols for cleanliness and safety.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or special cleaning needs, providing excellent customer service throughout.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning with a strong understanding of sanitation practices.
- Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, vacuuming, and floor care equipment operation.
- Ability to handle chemical agents safely while maintaining compliance with safety data sheets (SDS) and handling procedures.
- Demonstrated manual handling skills including heavy lifting and proper use of cleaning tools and equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
- Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or institutional settings is highly desirable.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
