Duties

- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately to process sales, returns, and exchanges
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with precision and confidence
- Assist with product demos and upselling to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including merchandising and stocking shelves as needed
- Follow proper phone etiquette when answering inquiries or directing calls
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting product displays, and participating in merchandising efforts
Requirements
- Previous cashiering experience in a retail or grocery store environment preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Strong communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately for transactions and balancing registers
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs effectively
