Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and dependable White Glove / In-Home Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves delivering high-value furniture, exercise equipment and appliances directly to customers' homes with exceptional service. Installation may be required. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service skills, experience with warehouse operations, and a solid background in commercial driving. This position offers an opportunity to represent our company with professionalism while ensuring a seamless delivery experience for our clients.
Duties
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles, including manual transmission models, to deliver products to customer locations.
- Load and unload merchandise ensuring proper handling of heavy or bulky items.
- Execute route driving efficiently, adhering to scheduled delivery times and maintaining accurate delivery documentation.
- Provide exceptional in-home customer service by assisting with product placement, setup or installation as needed
- Conduct thorough inspections of deliveries for damages or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the vehicle and delivery equipment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver performing in-home delivery / white glove services.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles preferred.
- Ability to lift heavy items safely and perform physical tasks such as moving furniture or appliances.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients.
- Prior experience in commercial driving 26' box truck or similar is required.
- Ability to work independently, follow routes accurately, and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to handle long periods of driving and manual labor involved in loading/unloading deliveries. This position is vital in delivering quality service directly to customers’ homes while representing our company professionally throughout each interaction.
