American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a NICU position at a children's hospital in Oregon, requiring prior travel experience and NRP certification.

NICU position within a children's hospital facility
-
Patient population includes neonates and infants under one year of age
-
Floating required to PICU, Pediatric Acute (Infants floor), or NICU Overflow locations within the Legacy Health system
-
Charting via Epic EMR
-
Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00–19:30
-
Weekend requirement: 3 Saturdays and 3 Sundays per 6-week scheduling period

Holiday coverage required for either July 4th or Labor Day
-
No on-call requirements
-
Active Oregon (OR) RN license required; pending OR license accepted with proof of application and fingerprints submitted

Current certifications required: BLS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Minimum 1 year of NICU experience required

Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

COVID vaccination required — no exemptions accepted

Travelers are expected to float within a site and across the Legacy Health system as requested; refusal to float may result in contract cancellation

Assigned education modules must be completed within one week of assignment start

Scrubs may be any color except black or camouflage

Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of any Legacy Health facility

RTO must be finalized prior to submission; no RTO permitted during the first week of the assignment, and no more than 7 days of RTO per assignment
-
Free parking available in any unrestricted space

13-week minimum contract length; candidates interested in a longer assignment are encouraged to indicate preference
