Duties
- Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and artistry
- Apply color theory principles to recommend and create stunning nail designs tailored to each client’s preferences
- Conduct esthetic treatments such as dermabrasion, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and laser procedures when qualified
- Follow strict salon safety protocols and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients and staff
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products confidently
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently while ensuring timely service delivery
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, techniques, and product innovations to enhance service quality
Experience
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with specialization or certification in nails is required
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry, particularly in nail care or related services such as hair styling or body treatments
- Strong knowledge of disinfection procedures, salon safety protocols, and sanitation standards
- Skilled in various nail techniques including acrylic application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and cuticle care
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to build rapport and promote retail sales effectively
- Familiarity with color theory, nail art design, and advanced treatments like dermabrasion or laser therapy is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
