Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Licensed Plumber to join our New Construction Plumbing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that plumbing installations meet safety standards, building codes, and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on new construction projects utilizing your knowledge and hands-on skills to deliver high-quality results efficiently and safely. This role will report directly to the President of the Company. Growth Opportunities exist for the right candidate.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to assemble plumbing components
- Conduct inspections of plumbing work to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams, electricians, HVAC specialists, and contractors to coordinate project tasks
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment necessary for plumbing installations and repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues within plumbing systems and implement effective solutions promptly
Skills
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong understanding of building codes and safety standards
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to plumbing systems
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, welding equipment, and other construction tools
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in demanding environments
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and layout planning
- Familiarity with carpentry, remodeling projects, handyman tasks, and assembly work as they relate to plumbing installations
- Valid license from Utah DOPL as a professional plumber with relevant certifications required by local regulations
- Experience with construction site safety protocols and working within a team environment

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
