We are looking for capable Leasing Agent to present and lease properties to prospective lessors. The goal is scout potential clients, turn them into actual ones and achieve high occupancy rates. Candidate will also need to stay up to date with property projects and be able to assist the property manager with following up and creating dialogue with tenants.
Responsibilities
- Present properties and provided amenities in a positive light to prospective tenants;
- Advertise available units at properties using a variety of media and promotional materials;
- Determine the needs, living standards and economic viability of prospect tenants;
- Confirm rental application data and personal references;
- Be knowledgeable about the rental market in the Properties’ area;
- Provide information on all aspects of properties to prospective tenants;
- Negotiate leasing terms and conditions and sign leases with tenants;
- Ensure vacant units are market ready before move in date;
- Assist the property managers with tasks;
- Assist with filing and day to day operations;
- Communicate with Residents and show property in accordance with Fair Housing;
- Assist with the intake of maintenance tickets daily;
- Answer and respond to all phone calls;
Skills
- Proven working experience as leasing agent;
- Proven working experience working in a property leasing office
- Working knowledge of leasing practices and related issues;
- Background and knowledge base of the rental market in Baltimore, Maryland;
- Computer skills, including MS Office and Google Suit;
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
- Persuasive with marketing and sales skills;
- Customer service orientation;
- Familiar with Social Media Marketing;
- Organizational skills; and
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
