Position Overview
We’re seeking a Community Association Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned HOAs, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with governing documents. The ideal candidate is a proactive leader with strong communication skills, sharp problem-solving abilities who thrives in a dynamic environment, and a talent for building relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary liaison between HOA boards, residents, vendors, and internal teams.
- Provide expert guidance on governance, finances, and long-term planning to HOA boards.
- Proactively address homeowner concerns and enforce community rules professionally.
- Manage budgets, interpret financial reports, and oversee audits and reserve studies.
- Maintain excellent community standards through regular site visits and vendor coordination.
- Prepare reports, take detailed meeting minutes, and facilitate board meetings (including evenings).
- Stay current on HOA laws, best practices, and industry trends to effectively advise boards.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Comfort and proficiency with budgeting, financial statements, and reserve planning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in changing circumstances.
- Professional, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Tech-savvy with managing community websites and using community management software (no programming required).
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
