Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Door Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installation of windows and doors, with a strong background in carpentry, remodeling, and construction site work. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring precise installation, and maintaining high safety standards. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Install windows, doors, and related fixtures according to project specifications and schematics
- Measure openings accurately and cut materials using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Perform framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and lock installation as needed
- Apply caulking and sealants to ensure weather-tight installations
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project
Skills
- Proven experience with glass installation, door hanging, fixture installation, and cabinet setup
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and mechanical systems
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Skilled in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, and remodeling projects
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocols and quality workmanship
