Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Team Truck Driver and take on an exciting role that combines skilled driving with essential delivery operations. In this position, you will operate a variety of commercial trucks—including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks—to transport freight efficiently and safely across designated routes. Your expertise in manual transmission driving, load & unload procedures, and route management will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities
- Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load security
- Manage route driving efficiently by planning optimal paths to meet delivery schedules while adhering to hours-of-service regulations
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate deliveries and pickups across multiple locations, ensuring seamless operations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, vehicle maintenance logs, and compliance documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients to confirm delivery details and resolve any issues promptly
Experience
- Proven truck driving experience with a focus on commercial driving in various environments
- Hands-on experience operating manual transmission vehicles
- Familiarity with different truck types such as refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks
- Prior delivery driver experience emphasizing load & unload procedures and route management
- Ability to operate auxiliary equipment like forklifts when necessary for freight handling
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking operations including DOT (Department of Transportation) standards
- Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices and cargo security

Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,500.00 per week
