Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in our outpatient setting in Rock Hill, SC. In this role, you will develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional skills for pediatric patients. You will collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care that promotes each child's potential and enhances their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assess pediatric patients’ physical abilities and develop tailored treatment plans focused on mobility, coordination, and strength.
- Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based techniques such as physiotherapy, trigger point therapy, and neurology-focused strategies.
- Educate families and caregivers on exercises, care plans, and home programs to support ongoing progress outside of sessions.
- Coordinate discharge planning and transition strategies for patients moving between inpatient, outpatient, or home health settings.
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems following clinical documentation standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and current best practices in pediatric physiotherapy.
Requirements
- Valid license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist with pediatric specialization preferred.
- Proven experience working with pediatric populations in outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, or home health environments.
- Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, neurology, orthopedics, and geriatrics as applicable to pediatric care.
- Experience in discharge planning, treatment plan development, and working with care teams to coordinate patient rehabilitation efforts.
- Familiarity with clinical documentation standards and electronic health record (EHR) management systems such as EMR platforms.
- Excellent client communication skills to effectively educate families and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
- Prior experience working with geriatric patients or in outpatient rehabilitation centers is a plus but not required.

Pay: $48.83 - $60.19 per hour
