Bosco Electric Inc., a premier commercial electrical contractor in South Florida, is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to join our growing team.
This position requires a highly motivated, self-driven professional with extensive experience in both commercial electrical estimating and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing accurate estimates and bid proposals, as well as managing awarded projects through completion.
Responsibilities
- Prepare complete electrical estimates and bid proposals for large and complex commercial projects
- Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
- Develop budgets and participate in design-build projects
- Prepare RFIs, change orders, requisitions, and purchase orders
- Perform value engineering and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage customer relationships and coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, general contractors, and vendors
- Oversee project scheduling, field coordination, manpower planning, and project execution
- Administer contracts and monitor project budgets and profitability
- Resolve technical issues and questions during the bidding and construction process
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical estimating and/or project management experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction practices
- Experience with design-build and negotiated projects
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong computer and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused
