Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team at our newly built hotel. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for all guests. Previous experience in cleaning or hospitality is preferred, but a strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Duties
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Perform floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linens to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other shared spaces
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe work environment
- Adhere to hotel standards for quality and efficiency in all cleaning tasks
- Assist with laundry services when required, including washing, folding, and organizing linens
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Experience working in hotels or the hospitality industry is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and reporting issues effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift light loads as needed
