Best Care Senior Living at Port Charlotte is seeking caring, responsible, and qualified individuals to join our assisted living facility in Port Charlotte, Florida as Cook.
Best Care Senior Living at Port Charlotte is an organization delivering compassionate care to our residents. As the Cook you will need to manage the dietary aide staff to provide meal services to our residents. This is a great opportunity for compassionate people who enjoy helping others that are either looking at changing careers or reentering the workforce.
Responsibilities Include
- Preparing tables for meals.
- Cleaning tables after meals are completed.
- Washing dishes, silverware, and other items.
- Serving meals to residents.
- Cooking 3 meals daily.
- Putting away food delivers and orders.
- Monitoring stock and inventory.
- Other duties per management
Job Requirements
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Previous experience in long term care or senior care preferred, but will train qualified applicants who possess the above mentioned skills.
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance history.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
