Duties
- Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and upselling menu items to enhance sales
- Handle cash transactions with precision, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations; assist with bussing tables and cleaning work areas
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and minimal wait times for guests
- Assist in food handling, packaging, and serving to ensure freshness and safety of all menu items
- Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Uphold sanitation standards through proper food handling practices and adherence to health regulations
- Contribute positively to team efforts by supporting colleagues in various restaurant functions such as kitchen assistance or retail tasks
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or retail food environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in cashiering, upselling, or sales is advantageous but not mandatory—training will be provided!
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
