Part-Time Infant Nanny/Family Assistant | Bellevue, WA | $45-50/Hour DOE | 10-16 hours/weekend
A warm and welcoming Bellevue family is seeking an experienced, nurturing part-time nanny/family assistant to care for their daughter, who will be 10 months old at the start of employment. The ideal candidate has strong infant care experience, a solid understanding of child development, and enjoys creating a loving, engaging environment. On weekends, the parents plan to spend much of the day with their daughter. During those times, the role will primarily involve household support, with occasional childcare as needed.

- Saturday-Sunday, 10-16 hours/weekend

Responsibilities
- Household responsibilities include family laundry, cleaning the child's high chair after meals, loading and unloading the dishwasher, assisting with bath time, cleaning and organizing toys, and helping keep the home tidy and organized.
- Provide attentive, loving care for one infant.
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate developmental activities, including floor play, reading, singing, conversation, sensory play, and outdoor walks.
- Prepare bottles, meals, and snacks for the child as age appropriate.
- Diapering, dressing, bathing, and maintaining the child's daily routine.
- Keep detailed daily logs of feedings, diapers, naps, and activities.
- Follow all family preferences and American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) safety recommendations, including safe sleep practices.
- Wash baby bottles and pump parts according to the family's preferred methods.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of child-related areas.
- Take the family's friendly Mini Australian Shepherd outside as needed
Qualifications
- Professional infant nanny experience
- College degree preferred, ideally in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Knowledge of infant development and safety
- Warm, dependable, organized, and receptive to feedback
- Speaks primarily English with the child to support language development
- Comfortable with dogs
This is a child-focused position with minimal household duties. The family is looking for a professional nanny who is passionate about helping their daughter learn and thrive.
Pay: $45.00 - $50.00 per hour
