Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled restoration craftsman who is able to work on a SWING STAGE at heights ranging to in excess of a 100ft. If you are a skilled Stucco/Concrete craftsman who has experience working on SWING STAGES, we want you to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying stucco finishes to various building exteriors and interiors, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. Your expertise will contribute to the durability, aesthetic appeal, and overall integrity of our construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse renovation and restoration construction sites, utilizing your masonry, plastering, and finishing skills to bring architectural visions to life.
Responsibilities
- Perform swing stage safety inspections
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying necessary primers to ensure optimal adhesion of stucco materials.
- Mix and apply stucco compounds using hand tools, power tools, and trowels with precision and attention to detail.
- Install rebar reinforcement and metal lath systems to provide structural support for stucco applications.
- Perform concrete finishing, plastering, caulking, and trim carpentry tasks as needed for seamless integration with other building components.
- Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, roofers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow and project completion.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on stucco application or related masonry trades and working on swing stages
- Strong knowledge of concrete forming, concrete finishing, tile laying, railings, waterproofing, painting, and heavy equipment operation is a plus!
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Background in commercial restoration projects is highly desirable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
