Schedule: Full-Time | 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $16.00–$17.00 per hour
Heartland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Laundry Aide to join our environmental services team. In this role, you'll help provide a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents by ensuring linens, clothing, and facility areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and infection control.

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens.
Inventory and label resident clothing to ensure proper identification.
Handle soiled and contaminated linens according to infection control policies and safety procedures.
Deliver clean laundry to resident rooms and designated departments.
Clean and maintain laundry equipment and work areas.
Perform general housekeeping duties, including cleaning resident rooms, restrooms, hallways, common areas, floors, windows, fixtures, and other surfaces.
Empty trash receptacles and restock housekeeping and restroom supplies.
Assist with terminal cleaning of resident rooms following discharge or transfer.
Follow established cleaning schedules, infection prevention guidelines, and OSHA safety standards.
Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, or supply shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
Promote a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 2 year of laundry and/or housekeeping experience required.
Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred.
Knowledge of proper laundry procedures, cleaning techniques, and infection control practices.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry laundry carts and supplies throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Must maintain resident confidentiality and treat all residents with dignity and respect.
Must successfully complete required training and comply with all facility policies and safety regulations.
