Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our team at Aviators! In this role, you will craft exceptional drinks, provide outstanding customer service, and create memorable experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate is passionate about the food and beverage industry, skilled in POS systems, and committed to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently using FastBar POS system.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
- Take orders, serve food and drinks promptly, and handle cash or card transactions with precision and integrity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively through strong time management skills during busy shifts.
- Monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment, especially in nightclub or banquet settings.
- Restock supplies, garnishes, and beverages as needed to ensure smooth service throughout your shift.
- Follow all food safety protocols and alcohol serving regulations diligently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators for catering or banquet events to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Upsell menu items confidently to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced bar is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS system.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience serving alcohol responsibly in compliance with TABC laws and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during high-volume periods.
- Background in retail math, cash handling, cashiering, or hospitality roles is advantageous.
