We are growing and seeking an experienced and compassionate Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our privately owned fee-for-service dental practice located in Summerfield, FL! In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them seamlessly through their treatment journey. Duties
- Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a welcoming environment from the moment they walk in
- Explain treatment options clearly, answering questions to ensure patient understanding and comfort
- Collaborate with dentists and hygienists to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Schedule appointments efficiently, balancing patient preferences with practice availability
- Verify insurance benefits and assist patients with financial arrangements to maximize coverage and affordability
- Prepare and review treatment estimates, ensuring transparency and accuracy before procedures
- Follow up with patients post-treatment to address concerns, confirm appointments, and promote ongoing oral health care
- Cross-train and assist with front office responsibilities as needed, including answering incoming phone calls, scheduling appointments, responding to patient inquiries, and ensuring every patient receives a consistent, exceptional experience
- Demonstrate a team-first mentality by supporting all departments when needed to help the practice operate efficiently
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven administrative experience in a dental practice
- Strong knowledge of terminology relevant to dental care and treatment procedures
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules and administrative tasks simultaneously
- Exceptional communication skills—friendly, clear, and professional in all interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining a positive attitude
- Presenting simple and complex treatment plans in understandable terms to patients
