IDEA Law Group, LLC is 100% women owned, operated, and controlled multistate law firm with a robust creditor’s rights practice. This position requires an attorney licensed in California and is a hybrid position.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Creditors' Rights Attorney licensed in California with a minimum of 3 years of practice in key areas including:
- Vehicle recovery, including impounds and replevins
- Litigation involving secured transactions, lien enforcement, and related disputes
- Judicial and non-judicial foreclosures
- Bankruptcy proceedings (Ch. 7, 11, and 13) on behalf of creditors
- Real estate title curative work
- Qualifications:
- Active California Bar membership in good standing
- 3 years of experience in creditors' rights and related litigation preferred
- Strong understanding of applicable state and federal laws;
- Courtroom experience preferred;
- including drafting pleadings, motions, and appearing in hearings;
- Highly organized, efficient, and digitally fluent;
- Ability to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision and able to work with a team;
- Excellent legal writing and communication skills;
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Preferred Experience:
- Representation of institutional lenders or loan servicers
- Familiarity with title and lien priority issues
- Comfort with technology and legal case management platforms
