Overview
Physical Therapy Works at Home, LLC is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to provide personalized therapy services in patients’ homes and senior living communities.
This flexible PRN position allows you to create your own schedule and select preferred service areas within Anne Arundel County. The Physical Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans of care, provide skilled treatment, and help patients improve their mobility, safety, independence, and overall quality of life.
New graduates are welcome and will receive mentorship and support.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
- Provide skilled, evidence-based physical therapy interventions.
- Assess mobility, balance, strength, safety, and functional limitations.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on exercises and home-safety strategies.
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Communicate changes in patient condition and progress to the appropriate members of the care team.
- Maintain professional and compassionate relationships with patients and families.
Qualifications
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current Maryland Physical Therapist license or eligibility for Maryland licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to travel to patients within the selected service area.
- Reliable transportation and automobile insurance, when applicable.
- Experience in geriatrics, home health, outpatient care, or senior living is preferred but not required.
