Harpe Laser + Wellness is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant that is adaptable, friendly and enjoys both front and back office. The Patient Services Representatives are an integral part of our team, serving as the first and last impressions to our patients. The Patient Services Representative position is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary in nature, and is an ideal role for an individual who is proficient in multi-tasking. Person-centered care is the number one priority for these teammates as well as being supportive to other team members. Responsibilities as a CMA/Front Office
- Greet patients
- Schedule appointments and manage phone communications
- Mantin accurate patient records using the EMR
- Assist Front Office Team members with inventory, product stocking and forms
- Assist Front Office Coordinator with day-to-day operations
- Assist patients with the rewards programs
- Open and Close
- Assist with maintaining all forms and an highly organized front office
- Have a solid working knowledge of all products and services including promotions and monthly specials
- Have a thorough understanding of HIPAA
- Support both front and back team members
Responsibilities as a CMA/Back Office
- Escort patients from intake process, triage and check-out
- Assist clinicians during examinations and procedures and ensure that all necessary instruments are available
- Prep rooms for procedures
- Assist with clean-up of rooms and proper sanitation
- Take before and after photos
- Have a thorough understanding of OSHA regulations and requirements
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications and proper skincare practices
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized and fully stocked
- Communicate with lead CMA of inventory and supply needs
- Be supportive to clinicians and other team members
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- CMA certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CMA in Dermatology and/or aesthetics
- Phlebotomy experience
- Thorough knowledge of medical terminology and practices relevant to dermatology and medical aesthetics
- BLS or CPR certification
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality
- Highly organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Suites, EMR and basic computer knowledge
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
- Some bending, stooping and ability to lift 50 pounds
- Good visual acuity
- Hand and Eye coordination
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, providers, peers, supervisor and other team members

Schedule
- 4 days per week with the potential to move to 5 days
- Day Shift
- No weekends or evenings
- Option to also do some PRN on day off
- Lunch breaks
Work Location/Condition
- In-person with no remote work
- Work at both office locations but primarily our Hendersonville office
Compensation is commensurate with experience $21-$24 per hour
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
