As a Cook, you'll help create exceptional dining experiences by:
Preparing fresh, high-quality meals using established recipes and rotating menus
Following therapeutic diets and special dietary modifications when needed
Preparing food safely while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation
Assisting with food ordering, receiving, storage, inventory rotation, and organization
Maintaining sanitation and food safety standards in accordance with company and regulatory guidelines
Completing required temperature logs, production records, and kitchen documentation
Working closely with the Dining Director and culinary team to ensure smooth meal service
Helping create an enjoyable dining experience for our residents every day
We're looking for dependable team members who take pride in preparing great food.
Requirements:
Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, hotel, country club, or commercial kitchen preferred
Culinary training or degree is a plus, but not required
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, portion control, and proper food handling practices
Experience preparing meals for large groups is preferred
Experience with therapeutic or special diets is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
Positive attitude with a passion for serving others
