Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and assist with appointment scheduling using salon management software such as Glossgenius.
- Support stylists with hair styling, hair coloring, hair extensions, and hair threading techniques.
- Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and common areas regularly.
- Manage front desk duties including check-in/check-out procedures, retail sales, and client inquiries.
- Assist with retail product upselling and inventory management through retail math skills.
- Prepare clients for services by providing consultations on hair care, makeup application, eyelash extensions, and nail care.
- Support store management in daily operations and mentoring new team members to uphold service excellence.
Experience
- Previous experience working in the beauty industry or a customer service environment is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with salon software platforms like Glossgenius. or similar management tools.
- Knowledge of hair coloring techniques, color theory, barbering, and cosmetology practices.
- Hands-on experience with sanitation protocols for beauty tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
- Ability to perform retail sales and upselling confidently to enhance client experiences.
- Basic understanding of retail math for inventory control and sales tracking.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.50 per hour
