Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to lead our kitchen. Must be comfortable with Italian dishes and comfortable directing and organizing a kitchen. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to delivering exceptional food experiences. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations and leading a crew to ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation.
Duties
- Lead and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Collaborate and execute innovative menus that reflect our passion to serve the best Italian food in the area.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage inventory control and food management processes, ensuring optimal stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service excellence.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong leadership skills with experience in team management within a culinary environment.
- Knowledge of food management principles, including inventory management and control.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences is essential.
