Line Cook
As a line cook you will be responsible for preparing and plating food in a timely fashion while maintaining Marufuku standards for presentation and quality. High volume expected; strong communication and teamwork skills are a must to ensure the customers needs are met.
Reports Directly To: Kitchen Manager
Job Requirements:
* Responsible for the service of food adhering to Marufuku standards of service and quality.
* Learn proper plating and presentation of all ramen and appetizers.
* Ensure cleanliness of workstations.
* Working as a team to ensure timely service and assisting coworkers in various tasks including food preparation, restocking of supplies, and maintaining safe food temperatures.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Minimum of 1-2 years current experience as a line cook or similar restaurant or kitchen experience.
* Good communication skills and ability to work with a team.
* Excellent work ethic and drive to succeed.
Physical Requirements:
Standing, walking, exposure to temperature changes, climbing ladders, squatting/kneeling, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, twisting/bending, lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling including items weighing more than 50 pounds on occasion.
Attendance Requirements for this position:
Additional hours may be required to meet deadlines of the position, including weekends and/or holidays.
